About Konrad
I’m a bioinformatics graduate student at the Freie Universität Berlin. My studies focus on efficient algorithms for sequence alignment and analysis. I’m also working as a tutor. I enjoy cooking and jogging. I also find writing self-definitions in the third person ridiculous.
Programming is my drug (actually no: chocolate is my drug, but I’m certainly addicted to programming). I’ve been active in various programming communities for almost a decade now. Most of my effort has gone into supporting the German-spoken ActiveVB programming website. Lately, I’ve also been quite active on Jeff and Joel’s StackOverflow (reputation: 69,477, ●8●128●264).
By the way, I don’t actually wear glasses. My sister is responsible for this photo, but I quite like (unlike most other photos of me).
